This was clearly revenge from you to me, for me having had something to do with your getting booted off of Mike Brantley's hostboard over a year ago.
Here are the facts:
1. You saw my post on Brantley's board about the fact that I'm selling my camera.
2. Sensing an opportunity for revenge, you spent God knows how much time digging up the old post that you saw, that I made long ago, when I was talking about how difficult the modification was that I was doing, and warning the newbies how hard it was, and pitfalls that they should look out for.
3. You emailed the bidders on my ebay auction, "warning" them about be (I don't give a rat's *** about the method you used, or the "technicalities" you're bringing up to excuse your behavior), and the high bidder cancelled their bid, and emailed me CLEARLY stating that they had been contacted by you, and that "obviously" I was a scam artist selling a defective camera.
I have no universal responsibility to "update my posts" about ANYTHING.
In fact, functionally, me stating in my ebay ad, the present capabilities of the camera, working perfectly, IS updating my posts.
Get it?
If I say one day I'm having trouble with the camera, and another day it's working perfectly, then why do you, in your infinite knowledge, get to declare the second statement false?

I put nothing in the message to the bidder other than a link to YOUR topic post. I didn't say a word to the bidder, nothing but a link to your topic post, no commentary of any kind was included by me.
As for spending "hours" finding your topic post, I spent about 30 seconds. I had hoped you had updated it so I could learn something.
If you want to be the equal man in this matter, update the post so that others can benefit from it in the future. That's what these forums are for, first and foremost. A FACT that you, Roger, Super-8 Booster Chair and Cameraguy have completely disrespected.

First of all, I don't know you and you don't know any of those bidders.
I was warned once for contacting ebay bidders and saying POSITIVE things about someone's auctions, so you thinking you have some loophole about slamming me in a negative manner is bizarre.
We'll let ebay decide who's in the right, and who's trying to slam their woodie in someone elses backside here.
